Clarity of Mind In Motion

Letting the swing, the thought, and the moment unfold without interference, until clarity dissolves into the feeling of unlimited freedom

In golf or baseball, once the swing begins, it is already in motion. Trying to correct it or improve it while it is happening creates interference and takes away from the natural flow of the movement.

The same is true of mind states.

Whatever is present right now—happiness, sadness, thinking, confusion, clarity, restlessness, calm—is always there as experience. The mind is never empty; it is always some state or another.

Trying to control that state while it is happening creates interference.

If the state is pleasant, like happiness or ease, trying to hold onto it tightens it and reduces its natural flow.

If the state is unpleasant, like sadness, irritation, or confusion, trying to resist it increases its presence and weight.

Even thinking itself—questions, planning, analysis—when met with control or interference, becomes more rigid and active.

So whether it is pleasant, unpleasant, or neutral, control during the moment creates contraction.

The simple shift is to allow whatever is here to be here while it is here.

Not pushing the good away—letting it flow.

Not resisting the difficult—letting it move through.

Not interfering with thinking—letting it unfold and move on its own.

In both golf or baseball and mind, clarity comes not from controlling what is already in motion, but from allowing it to move as it is.

In that openness, clarity dissolves into the feeling of unlimited freedom.
