Stop Look Listen

When the thought or sensation of tired border rushed happy etc arises

Stop    be still for a moment prepare get ready take a breath in and out 

Look    notice what is around you 360 degrees colors shapes textures

Listen    separate the drone of noise into the individual sounds that are both near and far

Move something

Adjust your posture 

Sit up or stand straighter

Take another breath in and out and repeat Stop Look Listen

Be a sponge soak in what is all around you. Merge deeper into your surroundings. 

Notice what has changed

Is your tone or mood altered?

Have your thoughts of future and past dropped away?

In this moment is there anything other than your thoughts that you can change?

Breathe in air

Breathe out happiness 

Repeat
