Are you standing in your own shadow of Love or are you soaking in every radiant beam?

What road blocks are you holding up that creates Love’s shadow?

Imagine holding up your hand to shade your eyes by blocking some of the sun light. In the same manner you may be blocking some of the Love that is surrounding you.

The five main Love blocks are:
Wanting things to be different then they are. Having ill will towards others of even yourself. Being restless. Entertaining boredom. And doubting you can let go of the first four.

The most common cause of the above Love blocks is not paying attention to what you are doing in each moment. Although your body is always in the present your thoughts may not be.

Planning, analyzing, anticipating, worrying, reviewing, hoping and many other types of thought are about the past or future. They create the Love blocks that actually block your senses to absorb what is presently all around.

Even though all of your thoughts are happening in the now the ones about past and future are like watching a movie of yourself rather than being yourself.

The beginning solution is to simply return your attention to your body. Return to your senses by returning to what your five sense windows are revealing right now. Start with noting the detail of what you are seeing. See the outline of objects, colors, angles and curves. Listen for sounds close by and further away. What pressure, temperature, texture or touch is happening within you right now? Sniff the air, anything there ? Run your tongue around the inside of your mouth and swallow.

When you move your attention to what is happening within and around you right now what do you find? Begin with that. Start the exploration of your world from the center of where you are right now.

You may find the happiness you think you missed in the past or hope to have in the future is already with you right now in this very moment. Why not pick it up, “right now” and carry it with you all along the adventure of life.
